Recently Andrew Projansky, Jason Necaise, and Weishi Wang represented the Whitfield group at the American Physical Society March Meeting 2025, in Anaheim, CA, USA. We are proud to have had them talk on various topics at one of the biggest physics research conferences in the world. Their topics included:
- Andrew: Extending Simulability of Cliffords and Matchgates
- Jason: A Permutationally Invariant Model Hamiltonian for Quantum Chemistry: Exploring the Role of Hartree-Fock and Mean-Field Approximations
- Weishi: Configurable and adaptive basis sets for molecular electronic structure in the NISQ era
